Let's just face the inevitable right now: Nothing will ever top last week's The Real Housewives of New York City. It was as close to a perfect episode as we'll ever get, from Bethenny Frankel vs. Luann de Lesseps to Dorinda Medley's cake breakdown and Ramona Singer coaching people in text apologies, it just won't be topped. With that said, this week was fine.

The drama between Bethenny and Luann continued, the time in the Berkshires was 7:35 p.m. when we picked back up with the ladies. Carole Radziwill got involved in the whole "Luann, own your stuff" conversation, but it really didn't work. However, Luann did say she's sorry to Carole for everything she did when Carole started dating Adam. Carole said it was the first time she actually heard that word in eight months and it's easy to believe her.

"You wrote the song ‘Be Cool,' you're not being cool. You're not honest about the way live your life," Bethenny told Luann. "You criticize other people for doing what you do on the regular."

But Luann just couldn't. While all this happened, Jules Wainstein and Dorinda played Twister. B and Lu went back and forth for a while before sitting down for some Kosher lasagna and a visit from Dorinda's sister dressed as Santa Claus. Dorinda and Santa gifted each of the ladies with wine goblets with nicknames and personal sayings that hold full bottles. "Next year she's going to give out Skinnygirl enemas so we can just put the alcohol right up our ass," Bethenny said.

Meanwhile, Sonja Morgan decided she needed to send her daughter a care package and she rifled through her Grey Gardens townhouse looking for things to send. A nearly empty bag of popcorn was considered. As was a single ramen package, but she decided on a phone charger, snack bars and makeup remover. Sonja also revealed she's stopped showering and is wearing the same clothes, further heading down the road to Edie-dom.

After dinner everybody retreated and we found Carole and Bethenny the next morning, plotting their escape. Luann caught them and she's right, they should've said goodbye, especially to Dorinda.

Back in the city, Ramona threw a holiday party and everybody wore some pretty eccentric holiday outfits, namely Luann's jumpsuit. Ramon's reaction was perfect when Luann asked if she liked the jumpsuit, which is from her collection. "I'm not sure," Ramona said. This jumpsuit was the most interesting thing about this episode. The jumpsuit and Bethnney's reaction to seeing Sonja and Luann and subsequent escape. "All of a sudden it's like 'Jack and the Beanstalk' coming over and I'm just like ‘Oh my god…,'" she said in a confessional after Luann came toward her. Luann took the party as a chance to try and get everything back on track with the ladies, including Carole. She issued another apology for everything that happened last season. "This apology seems to be slightly more sincere than her last apology," Carole said.

Some other choice things said by the ladies:

"I want to light my house on fire right now. Burn it down." – Dorinda as the fight raged on in her house.

"I don't want to be around Luann anymore. It depresses me." – Carole.

"By the way, don't even try to compare my hair to Luann's. This f--king s--t is tight."

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays, 9 p.m. on Bravo.
