They say music is therapy. And according to our eyes, Demi Lovato may be testing out that theory right about now.
Just a few days after the "Heart Attack" singer and Wilmer Valderrama announced their break up on social media, someone appears to be moving on while exciting fans along the way.
After Demi enjoyed a workout Monday evening, Lovatics found out on Snapchat that the performer stopped by a music studio for a late-night session.
"11:51 p.m." she wrote in her surprise Snap as two unidentifiable people looked at a computer screen. "Studio."
Fast-forward to Tuesday morning where the former Disney Channel star was back in the gym. This time, however, it wasn't exactly to break a sweat. "Laser therapy at the gym," she wrote as the clock struck 8:39 a.m.
Back on Friday, both Demi and Wilmer released a joint statement announcing their break up after six years of dating.
"This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends," the post read. "We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years."
And while some questions still remain about the shocking split, fans are receiving a bit more insight into what changed between the romantic duo.
"It had turned into more of a big brother-little sister kind of relationship," our source shared. "The romance wasn't what it used to be. That said, Wilmer is still very protective of her. He did a lot for her—not just in terms of being there for her when she had her health issues, but really helping build her brand and launch her product lines. You never saw him out in front though. He never tried to ride her fame."
And if it's any consolation for die-hard fans of the couple, another insider insists that there is still plenty of respect and admiration between the two.
"They love each other but aren't in love anymore," our source shared. "They are really great friends, which they'll continue to be, but the romance sort of died."
