It's real. There's proof that Melissa McCarthy will be in the Gilmore Girls revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Yes, we had all the public statements from McCarthy and those involved about Sookie St. James' much hyped return (remember when she said she wasn't asked?), but now thanks to costume supervisor Brenda Maben, there is photographic proof that McCarthy did indeed put that Sookie scarf back on while on set of Netflix's new series of Gilmore Girls movies.

The photo below was shared with the very simple caption: "#gilmorecostumesjoylove."

Maben also posted a snap with Matt Czuchry who was looking extra dreamy as Logan Huntzberger/himself, also with the same caption. Check it out in the gallery below.

"I went back for a set visit and to see all the sets and everybody back in those shoes again—I got really sentimental. It was nice," McCarthy told E! News at the Time 100 gala in April. "I think [fans] are going to be really happy. I think they're going to be thrilled."

Details about the revival are still being kept under wraps, but we do know that in addition to Czuchry and McCarthy, returning stars include Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Yanic Truesdale, Sean Gunn, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Milo Ventimiglia and Jared Padelecki.

No premiere date for the new series for movies has been announced.
