What do Lupita Nyong'o, Bobby Cannavale, Wilmer Valderrama, Tom Colicchio, Alan Cumming and Rosario Dawson have in common? They all consider themselves or support immigrants.

June is Immigrant Heritage Month, and to honor it, these stars and more appear in a video for the #IAmAnImmigrant campaign, voicing their thoughts on why immigrants are a valued part of American history and culture. In addition, Emmy-award winning director Cary Fukunaga (True Detective, Beasts of No Nation) photographed each celebrity wearing the official #IAmAnImmigrant T-shirt.

"We are who we are because we're an immigrant population," Colicchio says in the video. "We all came here because we want something better for our families. We want something better for our future."

"Every time we get to say out loud that we are immigrants," adds Valderrama. "I think it's important that we embrace that opportunity."
