Team Dean fans, you better sit down for this. Gilmore Girls veteran and Supernatural star Jared Padalecki dropped some details about his return to Stars Hollow for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and, well, some of you will not be happy.

"I will say probably a lot more than I'm supposed to," he said during a recent Supernatural convention appearance. "[Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino] basically said, ‘Listen, we're going to write you a really cool scene and if you get a day off let us know we will just put your scene on the schedule for that day. ‘She was like, "It's a set that we already run and own [and] it's an actress that already is working every day, so let us know.

"So Dean has a cool scene in the market he used to work at," he said to cheers from the audience. "It's a nice, a really nice scene that gave me closure."

Could Dean be working at Doose's once again or does he just run into Rory?

Padalecki told the crowd his exit from Gilmore Girls was abrupt, which happens a lot in the TV world. "So for me, I never had closure. One day I was an actor on Gilmore Girls and the next day I had a TV show and would never again be on Gilmore Girls," he said. "So for me, as a person, it was weird, because I was like ‘What about Dean?'…So it was fun to go wrap it up in a really cool way."

Padalecki is just one of Rory's (Alexis Bledel) past beaus returning to the show. Matt Czuchry and Milo Ventimiglia will both be around.

"He pops back into Stars Hollow and he kicks up dirt like he always does," Ventimiglia told us about Jess' part in the four-episode revival, "in a very nice cloud that will help other characters along in their life."

Hmm…

The returning cast also includes Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson, Melissa McCarthy, Sally Struthers, Liza Weil, Keiko Agena, Kelly Bishop and Sean Gunn.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will consist of four 90-minute episodes and stream on Netflix.
