Hooray for the red, white and blue…and the bikinis too!
Before Jessica Simpson decided to soak up the sun in the great outdoors this Memorial Day weekend, the fashion designer decided to snap a good ole American selfie with her ban.do iPhone case.
While posing with her right hand over her hip, the proud mother of two couldn't help but show off her figure in a red and white bikini top.
Between her festive swimsuit, blue button-down jacket and three American flag emoji's serving as her caption, it's safe to say Jessica was ready to celebrate the holiday with family and friends.
And come to think of it, the singer has shown plenty of signs that she is ready for summer too.
Just last week, the designer behind the Jessica Simpson Collection posed in a $78 swimsuit. She also recently enjoyed a vacation to Mexico towards the end of March where bikinis and daisy dukes were included in the luggage.
As for what Eric Johnson's wife has planned for the coming months, it's safe to say new music is on the horizon.
In recent weeks, Jessica has snapped photos from inside recording studios. In fact, Linda Perry made an appearance during one session.
"I'm back in the studio. It's been a very exciting time to rediscover music and I definitely have so much inspiration," Jessica recently shared with the Huffington Post. "I've been in the music business for so long, and it's interesting to see what I come up with as a mom and the perspective I have after all the records I have made and all the life situations I've been through."
While specific dates for any new music have yet to be announced, fans can see the "With You" singer perform on the Today show's Citi Summer Concert Series this August.
