Heard and her best friend, Raquel Pennington, appeared to be enjoying each other's company, as both were seen laughing and smiling as they departed the office building. With a laptop in hand, Heard looked to be staying strong since being granted a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp.
Although Heard and Depp, who were married for 15 months before The Danish Girl actress filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, did their best to keep their relationship extremely private, much was revealed during Heard's court visit Friday.
In the court documents obtained by E! News, Heard alleged that Depp "has a short fuse" and that "his temper is exceptionally scary for me as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life-threatening to me."
She addressed "several instances of domestic violence" but said there was one event in particular that she said she "truly feared my life was in danger". No other details were given except that it took place in December 2015.
Depp hasn't responded to the Heard's allegations, but instead continues his tour with his band The Hollywood Vampires. The only statement he has made was in response to Heard's divorce filing.
"Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life," he said via a statement from his rep. "Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."
Depp's daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, and his ex, Vanessa Paradis, however, had nothing but kind words to say about the Alice Through the Looking Glass actor. "My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know," Lily-Rose wrote alongside a throwback photo of her dad holding her as a toddler. "He's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
Paradis, who dated the star for 14 years, allegedly wrote a letter defending the actor. "Johnny Depp is the father of my two children, he is a sensitive, loving and loved person," Paradis allegedly wrote.
E! News has not yet confirmed the letter, and a rep for the French actress and singer has not returned request for comment.
"I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations made are outrageous, in all the years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years."
