As the summer heat rises, it seems Meek Mill's temper is also flaring in the recording studio—again

It's been nearly a year since the rapper and his current nemesis Drake became embroiled in a fierce rap feud over Mill's initial allegations claiming the Canadian star doesn't always author his own rhymes.

The behind-the-scenes beef went public when Mill tweeted in July 2015, "Stop comparing drake to me too.... He don't write his own raps! That's why he ain't tweet my album because we found out!" The Views artist retaliated by dropping not one, but two harsh tracks, followed by Mill's 2016 response, his EP 4/4

"This is hip-hop / You ain't write it, don't record it / I don't know how they gettin' down 'cross the border," he says on the track, which also features Fabolous

The revamped music falls on the heels of Drake's latest studio album, Views, which was released to mixed reviews in late April. Of course, the "Hotline Bling" artist took the opportunity to throw some more digs at Mill on the track titled "Hype."

"I don't run out of material/You shouldn't speak on me period/You try to give your side of the story/They heard it/But they weren't hearing it," Drake rhymed, alluding to the support his fans spread on social media at the start of the fight.

Since we're keeping track—Drake, the ball is in your court now.
