"All the Way Up" wasn't the first time.

Late last night, the Internet finally got Jay Z's answer to Lemonade. It wasn't nearly as apocalyptic as "Becky with the good hair," but it was still pretty delicious—at least for those of us who have been lying in wait for the rapper to respond to the diss album.

"You know you made it when the fact/ Your marriage made it is worth millions," Jay rapped on the track "All the Way Up." "Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is / Survival of the littlest." Ziinngg.

The rapper was, of course, making reference to the fact that we should all feel super silly for giving away all of our hard-earned money to learn more (possibly exaggerated) gossip about Jay and Beyoncé's relationship woes. And while that burn may hurt just a wee bit, the humor of it all far outweighs any bruise to the ego. And thus is the genius of Jay Z in a nutshell. While the public may obsess over other rap feuds more (like, say, the unending fascination with Meek Mill and Drake's beef), we have to give Hova some credit for all of his lyrical burns. His line on "All the Way Up" wasn't the first, and it certainly won't be the last.

So in that vein, it's time to look back at a few of our favorite zingers, straight from the mouth of Jay.
