Mic drop.

Anne Hathaway appeared on The Late Late Show Tuesday and entered into an intense rap battle with James Corden. While most celebrity rap battles tend to be jokey and fun, this one was legitimately no-holds-barred. Both stars went after each other's careers and personal lives, genuinely leaving nothing off the table.

Corden kicked things off by insulting Hathaway's rap skills. "Am I the Drake of this battle and Anne is Meek Mill," Corden spat, referencing the two rappers' epic feud that has gone on for months. He then went after one of her past roles.

"The only Catwoman I acknowledge is Halle Berry," he continued.

Even though they were just getting warmed up, Hathaway went after the British talk show host with all of her might.

"I can't make fun of you, James, because no one's heard of you," she kicked off her first verse. "Your rhymes are like your ratings, they're incredibly weak."

She continued, "I'm like your wife, I watch Seth Meyers instead."

Seeing how far Hathaway was willing to go, Corden gave her an epic zinger about one of her career low points. "It's more likely again they'll ask you to host the Oscars," he said, referencing the time she took the lead with James Franco at the Academy Awards. The two hosts were panned across the board.

Undeterred, Hathaway went after Corden again, this time mentioning the time One Direction appeared on his talk show. "The one direction that makes sense is away from you," she rapped.

We told you—shots were fired throughout this entire back-and-forth. Even Corden had to admit it was getting heated. "That was actually a bit mean," he told her, taking a short break from their battle.

Before Corden could go after her experience with the Hatha-haters, the Alice Through the Looking Glass star acknowledged it first. "I was hated and shaded, but now I've been liberated," she rapped. "Now you know what it's like to get Hatha-slayed."
