Kate McKinnon can impersonate almost anybody.

Two of the Saturday Night Live star's most beloved impressions, though, are of Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres. Given that all three stars taped The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, it only made sense for Kate do something in honor of the two women who have inspired her (and made her one of SNL's top talents in the process). "Hi, Hillary. I'm Ellen," Kate said, adopting Ellen's Southern twang. "Thank you so much spending your life fighting of the middle class and for women and for kids. I have also spent my life fighting for kids, but I am talking about baby goats. So when you're POTUS, please do consider me your GOATUS." She then stood by Hillary and addressed the talk show host, saying, "Hi, Ellen. I'm Hillary Rodham Clinton. Every day we face hard choices, like which statement blazer to wear, but when I'm President I will make sure every American has a fair shot to live up to his or her God-given potential to watch you dance!"

At that point, Hillary and Ellen decided to take turns debating which of Kate's impressions was better. "So, doing them back-to-back, it's obvious that it's more fun to do me," Ellen told Kate.

"Uh, have you ever been to Camp David?" Hillary asked.

"I can get you a brand new Chevy Malibu," Ellen promised.

"Did I mention that I'm running to be the next President of the United States?" Hillary asked.

Touché.

Later on, Ellen and Hillary discussed other presidential hopefuls, including Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. Eventually, though, the conversation turned to the candidate's husband, former United States President Bill Clinton. "Is it legal for an ex-President to be a Vice President?" Ellen asked. For Bill, who served two terms, the answer is no. "If you've served two terms it would be hard to do," Hillary said. "If you've only served one term, I think technically you might be able to." That's when Hillary surprised Ellen: "Actually, I'm here to interview you," she said. "I know that you have a lot to contribute and I would make you really be in charge of returning kindness to America—something that you care a lot about. Try to lift people's spirits—give them something to be happy about, because your show, every day, does that for millions of people."

Ellen was on board, under one condition: "If we can move The White House here and I could still do this, that would be great." After Hillary suggested she tape the show in Washington, D.C., Ellen replied, "That would be great to do the show from the White House. Why don't I do that?"

"I think we should do that," Hillary said. "I mean, you probably don't want to accept the offer because you do have to move to Washington and it is expected you'll live in the Vice President's house, but you can bring the show." When Ellen realized she wouldn't get to live in the White House with Hillary, she had a change of heart. "I have a nice house," she explained. "I'm fine."

After Hillary's interview was over, Kate returned with her Ghostbusters co-stars Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig. After fawning over cast member Chris Hemsworth's ("It's too much!" Melissa said), the actresses joined Ellen for a laugh-out-loud game of "Heads Up!"
