Ladies and gentlemen, if you've ever wanted to know the very best way to rescind an invitation to a friend on the outs, while still appearing sympathetic to their cause, look no further than Dorinda Medley.

In this sneak peek of tonight's all-new episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, exclusive to E! News, Dorinda meets her dear friend Sonja Morgan to hear out her complaints about fellow Housewife Ramona Singer following last week's spectacular street fight involving all three—and a magnificent, drunk sight known simply as Rey—and manages to pivot like a damn boss into a carefully worded dis-invitation from a weekend away.

"I actually want to talk to you about something, and I need you to's not a drinking [thing.] I will not do those conversations with you," she began. "But, I was gonna do this whole three day thing in the Berkshires. I'm not doing it anymore."

"You're not?" Sonja asked, expecting to hear why the weekend away was canceled for everyone, only to learn that that wasn't exactly the case.

"No. And you need to let me finish so you understand it as a whole. I feel like right now you're in sort of a vulnerable position and these girls sometimes gang up," Dorinda continued, expertly positioning this as something that's actually of benefit to Sonja. "I don't think right now it's healthy for you to be in a room with all these girls, so basically what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna have the girls come up and then I'm gonna do a dinner with them, and then they're gonna leave the next morning. I would love to do a one-on-one with you up there and spend quality time without a lot of background noise."

And there you have it—a masterclass in taking an invitation back with ease. Of course, to see if Sonja takes the bait, you'll have to press play on the video above.

Elsewhere in the episode, Bethenny Frankel hosts a holiday party where the topic of discussion is the aforementioned trip to the Berkshires. Meanwhile, Luann de Lesseps introduces her new boyfriend to Dorinda and Jules Wainstein at an intimate couples dinner, where the women discover Ramona shares a past with Luann's man. Oh, and the revelation that Luann is living with and "mentoring" Sonja leads to a major confrontation with Bethenny. We can hardly wait.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
