Girl Meets World is getting a makeover for season three and E! News has your exclusive look behind the scenes.

The Disney Channel series has a brand new look for its opening credits in the upcoming season, and it might be familiar to those of you who were fans of Boy Meets World back in the day. Don't worry—all your favorites are returning (and so is that paper airplane!)—but they're throwing it back to the BMW days with the latest design. The new credits feature the same GMW song from seasons one and two ("Take On the World," sung by stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter), but they move from inside the Matthews house to the great outdoors in a semi-recreation of BMW's later season opening credits.

Series star Ben Savage directed the new title credits.

A few of the shots, in fact, are totally the same: the sandwiched kisses, the popcorn throwing, and the fire escape/water bucket shenanigans.

Press play on the video at the top of the post for the new Girl Meets World credits. Then find the Boy Meets World credits in the YouTube video below, and prepare to have some serious déjà vu. Get an exclusive look behind the scenes of the shoot in the gallery below.

Season three of Girl Meets World will see Riley (Blanchard) and her BFF Maya (Carpenter) take on the often confusing, definitely terrifying world of high school. (And yes, more Boy Meets World favorites will totally be back.) The two-part premiere begins Friday, June 3 at 8:30 p.m. and continues on Sunday, June 5 at 8:30 p.m. on Disney Channel.
