If you caught Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards, you surely remember Mila Kunis' face.

The star paired a flawless purple smoky eye with light-pink lips, which has us pretty much convinced plum hues go with everything. Needing more info, we hounded celebrity makeup artist Tracey Levy for the breakdown.

"Mila and I have been working together since she was 15, so working with her is like working with family," said Tracey. "I know what she likes, and we trust each other's opinions. Everything is always an easy collaboration with her."

And easy collaborations make for stunning results. Get the look, below!

Step 2: "With my pinkie, I topped off her lid with Pat McGrath Skin Fetish 003 Nude Highlighter."

Step 3: Next, "I added two coats of Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara in Deep Black." Though, any black mascara will do!

Step 1: "I used two colors of foundation to highlight and contour her face: EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Liquid Foundation in F100 and F200. I used F200 on the outer parts of her face and blended it, using a damp Beauty Blender, into her neckline then I mixed the two of them for the center of her face."

Step 2: "I then lightly dusted her face with EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Compact Powder in P100 to set the makeup."

Step 3: "For a bit of extra highlight, I used the Pat McGrath highlighter again and lightly contoured using Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Powder Duo in Moodlight. With it, I dusted the tops of her cheekbones, Cupid's bow and went down the center of her nose—I used the darker shade on the hollows of her cheeks."

Step 4: "For a touch of color on her cheeks, I lightly dusted them with EX1 Cosmetics Blusher in Natural Flush."
