It has been almost two years since Fergie has released new music, and an entire decade since she released her first solo album, The Dutchess, but it could be worth the wait.

Fergie dropped a teaser of a new music video and song on social media Friday, starting with a 20-second clip on Instagram and following up with a minute-long version on her Facebook page. The title of the rap song remains a mystery, but based on the repetition of the word "hungry," we're going to guess that's part of the track's name.

E! News confirmed in January that Fergie would be releasing her second solo album in the spring, and her husband, Josh Duhamel, told People earlier this month that it would be dropping "literally any minute."

"It's all ready to go, now it's a matter of what's going to be released first and you know how it's all going to be released," he shared. "People are going to be amazed. It's so good. I'm really, really proud of her and the work she's put into it. It's amazing."

Based on what we can tell from this snippet, the what-could-be first single sounds like the Black Eyed Peas singer hasn't skipped a beat. The black-and-white video shows footage of the songstress dressed in a black latex and fishnet ensemble as she chops her hair off. The trippy footage also shows an eye exam, the earth and an apple being cut—seriously, quite trippy.

Having worked on this project for "close to two years," Fergie didn't give her husband a sneak peek until she thought it was ready for other ears. "She's pretty protective over it, so she plays it for me when it's ready," he said. "She wants everything to be perfect before she lets me hear anything."

What do you think of her new track? Sound off in the comments.
