The Duchess of Cambridge appeared at Sir Ben Ainslie's sailing charity, the 1851 Trust, Friday to launch a project that encourages more young kids to try the sea sport. A patron of the trust, Kate met with different children and then opened the new Tech Desk Education Centre, which will showcase sailing's innovation, technology and sustainability.
And speaking of sustainability, Kate proved she's the master of getting the most out of her goods by choosing an outfit she has worn two times before Friday's event. The Duchess of Cambridge chose a nautical Alexander McQueen ensemble that she first wore in August 2011. She chose the sea-inspired look again in 2014 during a trip to Bletchley, England, and picked it for a third time today. Every single time Kate paired the look with her blue suede heels and a clutch.
Kate, who along with husband Prince William, has made it her mantra to raise her children in as normal a way as possible, so it's no surprise that she would apply the normalcy to her own life. Of course she has one of the most glamorous wardrobes we've ever seen, but when she knows a good outfit she goes with it time and time again. An expert fashion repeater, Kate has recycled plenty of outfits before.
Earlier this month Kate donned another Alexander McQueen outfit, this time a peplum dress. She wore it to the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition where her own portraits were displayed, but she had previously worn it two years during a royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. To keep her look from appearing stale, however, Kate changed hairstyles, shoes and jewelry.
