InstagramRussell Wilson is going to be the sweetest stepdad.
His fiancée Ciara posted on her Instagram page late Wednesday a photo of her with son Future Zahir, her first child, along with a sweet birthday message. The boy turned 2 Thursday.
"It Was Just Yesterday I Was Holding You In My Arms Like I Am In This Photo," she wrote. "Now My Angel Baby Boy Is 2 Years Old!!....Running Around, Talking Up A Storm, Learning Fast & Getting Into Everything! It Has Truly Been The Best Life Experience Watching You Grow! I Am So Grateful To God For You, & I Can't Wait To See All The Many Other Amazing Things He Has In Store For You! Mommy loves You Soooo Much! #HappyBirthday To My Prince, Future Zahir."
Wilson posted a heartwarming comment.
"Watching him grow over the past year and a half has been the most fulfilling and special things I've ever been around," the NFL star wrote. "He gets the purest and the sweetest love from you and to watch you be the woman and mom you are ALL the time. Every morning. Every night. Every day… No matter what the circumstances or situation… good or bad… brings me so much joy & most importantly him. He is so blessed to have you hold him and hug him and love him with so much pure and real love that he will have no limits to what God has in store for him."
"You both bring me pure joy and I can't wait to see him grow more and more into the loving, caring, kind-hearted man that he will be...2 years old! Wow," he added. "God is good!"
Wilson has bonded with the boy since he and Ciara began dating in early 2015. That July, the child's father and her ex Future expressed disapproval over photos showing Wilson pushing the baby in a stroller.
In March, Wilson, Ciara and her son enjoyed a family fun day at Disneyland. This past Mother's Day weekend, the three attended a performance of Sesame Street Live in Los Angeles. That day, Wilson called Ciara the "best mom in the world."
The two got engaged in March. They have not announced a wedding date.
