Does Holly Madison want to respond to Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett's recent verbal attacks? Sure, she does, but she's not going to do it in the same manner as her former Girls Next Door co-star.

The pregnant reality star and author of upcoming book The Vegas Diaries (available tomorrow) stopped by Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM podcast Dirty, Sexy, Funny to discuss the recent shade that was thrown at her from Kendra.

"I didn't really get emotional about it. Obviously, I can go on Twitter and say just as vulgar things about her, but what is that gonna do for me? Nothing. I wasn't talking about her. She was reacting to a headline, which was a headline I wasn't thrilled about. When people pull a word that I don't necessarily wanna be associated with and put that in a headline, I get it, it sells magazines. But I'm not necessarily thrilled about it either," Madison began to explain.

"We live in a click-bait world, and it's always these crazy headlines. But, she still works in that world, she has a different viewpoint on things."

She added, "I was there a long time before she was, so I saw a lot of things she never saw, too. If she wanted to react to the book once, that's fine. But it's a year later, I'm not even talking about it."

When asked about the vulgar tweets Kendra tweeted-then-deleted (which included allegations of Holly doing some dirty deeds at the mansion), Holly told McCarthy, "It's gross, but I'm used to it. Even when I was 11 years old and I moved to Oregon from Alaska, I was taller than the other girls and I was really shy, so that meant I was a slut. I'd never even kissed a boy, but that meant I was a slut and I was trying to steal everybody's boyfriends.

"I feel like I've been dealing with that slut-shaming and internet trolls for so long. And when it's coming from her, I have my suspicions on where it's coming from and it's so hypocritical, and I feel like I really don't want to lower myself and go there and respond in any way other than, ‘I wish you the best. Bye.'"

What kind of suspicions, you ask? Well, Madison explains that one of Kendra's show producers is a very close friend of Hugh Hefner's, who is also very loyal to the Playboy mogul, and so, "When you're in that culture, you're still in that culture."

Kendra did come out recently and say herself that she's protecting Hef. "I'm protecting Hef, I'm protecting myself, I'm protecting the things that actually made us famous," she said during a radio interview on SiriusXM's Morning Men with Evan Cohen and Mike Babchik

"I'm very appreciative, and I'm very loyal, and he did no wrong. He did no wrong to anyone, and if he did, you know I would be here telling you. If I felt for once that he treated us unkind in any way, I would be right here defending Holly, but I'm not."

Regardless of going through her ups and downs with Hef, Holly tells McCarthy that she doesn't really have anything to say to him at this point.

"I feel like I don't really care, and I don't mean that in a callous way, I just don't care. But even after I left the mansion, I realized that the person I'd cared about was so much an invention in my head," she said.

"I don't know this person. I know how he treated me and how he treated the other women when I was there. But I don't know this person in some ways. And I just feel like I've moved on and he's moved on so I just can't even imagine having to say anything."
