If you're a '90s hip-hop and R&B fan, Sean ''Diddy'' Combs is about to make a lot of your dreams come true.
The rapper just announced that he's reuniting some of the biggest names in the music industry for the first-ever Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, which kicks off on August 25 in Columbus, Ohio. Artists like Lil' Kim, Mase, French Montana, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, 112, Total, Carl Thomas and the Lox will come together for the experience, marking the first time they've ever gone on tour as a group.
"This isn't just a concert—this is a moment in hip-hop and R&B history," Puff Daddy said in a statement. "The family and I are so excited to welcome fans into this once-in-a-lifetime experience."
He added, "This tour is 20 years in the making, and is a celebration of the hits and the Bad Boy lifestyle. The Bad Boy Family has set the standard for concert excellence, and this tour will be a testament to that!"
P. Diddy & the Family will start things off by taking over Rockefeller Plaza this Friday, May 20th, as the first of the Today Show's Summer Concert Series, giving fans a sneak peek of what they can expect from this tour.
Meanwhile, news of the tour comes just a few weeks after Diddy announced that he's retiring from music.
Covering Cigar Aficionado's June issue, he says, "I'm going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time to doing films...I want to stop at a great place, and a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it once last time."
His final album will be No Way Out 2, is the follow-up to his 1997 album, No Way Out.
