Nick Jonas isn't holding back from revealing his emotions in his new music video for "Chainsaw."

The video, which was released on Friday, depicts the storyline of a bad break up between the singer and Portuguese model Sara Sampaio. We watch as Jonas unleashes his anger, smashing china and setting his home on fire as he struggles to over come the memories they once shared together there.

There's no coincidence Sampaio bears a close resemblance to Jonas' ex-girlfriend, Olivia Culpo. The singer has been open about the fact that a lot of the songs off his new album Last Year Was Complicated were written about life after their split, and he's even fully admitted to "Chainsaw" in particular being his "most personal song" on there.

He took to Twitter the night before the premiere of the new song to explain to fans, "In a couple hours my most personal song I've ever written will be released...Hopefully my vulnerability speaks to you."

He continued, "I loved. It ended. I had regret. I wrote a song. #Chainsaw."

He also reiterated these emotions during a recent interview for OUT magazine, saying, "It became very clear what [the album] was going to be about, after the breakup," he said. "I just dove in headfirst and wrote about all of it. I think it was the most meaningful relationship I've ever been in."

As for the video, it was directed by Luke Monaghan, who Jonas can't help but express his appreciation for. "Thrilled to have had the chance to work with @lukemonaghan on this video," the singer wrote on Instagram. "He made me open up and push myself. He is an incredibly talented director and story teller."
