Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel certainly hit a chord with their fans last week.
For the first time in 12 years, the Wicked co-stars reunited to sing the Broadway musical's ballad "For Good."
In the week since Menzel posted a video of their performance on her Facebook page, it's been viewed a mind-blowing 10 million times.
And now Chenoweth is hinting that there may be more in the works.
I caught up with her last night before her performance at the Rebels With a Cause cancer research benefit.
"What did you think?" Chenoweth asked about the Wicked reunion.
"Um, my head almost exploded," I told her. "Are you planning on more together?"
Chenoweth smiled, "I'm not going to say. It's a secret."
The reunion performance was first played during the Second Stage Theatre gala honoring Wicked producer David Stone in NYC earlier this month before Menzel dropped it on Facebook.
"It just evolved," Chenoweth said. "I was so proud to do it with her."
The video is now part of Wicked's YouTube channel's Out of Oz: Wicked Studio Sessions series.
Chenoweth starred as Galinda in the original 2003 Broadway production of Wicked opposite Menzel as Elphaba. The show went on to win three Tony Awards, including one for Menzel. A movie adaptation has been brewing for several years.
