This off-screen pair is taking their romance center stage for the biggest award show of the spring.

With six career Billboard Music Award nominations and two wins between them, it seems only fitting that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton take the stage at this year's ceremony to unveil their first duet together, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."

"This is one of my favorite songs I've ever written or recorded," Shelton previously said. "It came from a time and place when Gwen and I were beginning our journey together and both experiencing a hard time letting our guards down with each other. The song couldn't possibly be more honest. I'm honored to have written and to perform this song with the great Gwen Stefani."

This occasion marks the first time the country crooner and pop star will perform together on an awards show and it is also the award show premiere of the chart-topping hit.

The twosome first performed their song together live on The Voice, where the chemistry was oozing out onto the stage. While little else is known about their upcoming performance, one thing is certain—the sparks will be flying all over the arena.

In addition to the highly anticipated duet, Ariana Grande, a two-time Billboard Music Award nominee this year, will also grace the stage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, according to an announcement released today. The 22-year-old songstress is slated to serenade the crowd with selections from her newest album, Dangerous Woman.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards is shaping up to be one of the most star-studded events of the year. Along with Shelton, Stefani and Grande, Celine Dion will also give her first award show performance after the tragic death of her husband, René Angélil, while Madonna will pay special tribute to the late Prince

It definitely sounds like a show we won't want to miss.

The Billboard Music Awards will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, May 22.
