Rob Kardashian is excited to become a father but is also keen on keeping things with his fiancée Blac Chyna private—something he has become used to doing when it comes to his personal life, despite being part of a famous family.
The two revealed last week they are expecting their first child together, which will be her second, a month after they revealed they are engaged and less than four months after the two made their public debut as a couple.
"I mean it's my first time, so everything is exciting, literally," Rob told E! News' Zuri Hall exclusively Tuesday, in what appeared to mark his first on-camera interview in more than two years. "I'm happy and I just like to keep it, you know, keep it private...as private as can be."
Rob made his comments at a Hollywood event celebrating Blac Chyna's 28th birthday and the launch of her Chymoji emojis, which drew an exceptionally large amount of photographers, given that it marked the pair's first joint public appearance since their baby news broke. It also marked Rob's first major press appearance in almost three years. The 28-year-old, who used to appear regularly on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has largely kept away from the spotlight since then.
Blac Chyna and Rob were recently spotted out with his sister Kim Kardashian, a mother of two herself. When asked if Kim has given her any Mommy tips, Blac Chyna told Hall, "She gives me a lot of tips, actually."
She had also said she feels "amazing" and "blessed" and has not had any pregnancy cravings so far. She and Rob had also talked about her emoji collection, during which he revealed his favorites.
Since Rob and Blac Chyna began dating, he has been spotted out in public more often and the two have also attended club parties together. They did, however, miss two scheduled appearances over the weekend following their baby news reveal.
Blac Chyna has also appeared to inspire Rob to become more active, both physically and on social media, especially on Snapchat.
She posts on her account regularly and on Tuesday shared footage of an elaborate gift he gave her for her birthday. Blac Chyna also posted a video of her with King Cairo, her 3-year-old son with ex Tyga, Rob's sister Kylie Jenner's boyfriend.
