VimeoBeyoncé is fierce, stunning, powerful and an all-around badass. These are all facts. But can you imagine the same person who created the masterpiece that is Lemonade once wore ridiculous fake teeth and showed off on-point "Genie in a Bottle"-esque moves for MTV? Well, it's true and it's glorious.
The Destiny's Child episode of MTV Cribs from 2000 has been thankfully resurfaced in case you guys forgot how Queen B first broke into the music industry. Bey, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams took MTV on a tour of the giant Houston mansion where they all lived together while making early aughts music magic. Except Michelle. She didn't live there, and we never find out why. Perhaps an even greater mystery than "Becky with the good hair."
Oh, and Solange and Tina Knowles live there, too, because obviously.
Bey, only 19-years-old in cornrows and a belly chain (a belly chain, you guys!), basically steals the show while showing the cameras around the house. Some highlights: Kelly showing off her VHS collection, the trio raiding Tina's closet and spotting costumes from their music videos and the pièce de résistance: a photo from a pre-Grammys party that included Puff Daddy, Britney Spears and ‘N SYNC.
Ugh, we missed the 2000s so much, you guys.
