Country music artists have been known to express themselves through music and Blake Shelton appears to be no exception.

This week, The Voice coach and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani performed their duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" for the first time live. That same night, Blake went to the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles to discuss his new music including the track "I Bet You Still Think About Me."

While fans immediately speculated that the song is about Miranda Lambert, Blake isn't confirming any names right now. And as it turns out, the person who could have inspired the track may not even mind.

"Miranda is aware of what country artists do when creating new music," a source shared with E! News exclusively. "She is not upset at the lyrics because she knows it's just how it goes, especially as a country artist."

Our insider continued, "She is always thinking and currently working on new lyrics and song ideas and many of those ideas steam from the past, present and future experiences."

When performing tracks from his album If I'm Honest Monday night on The Honda Stage in Los Angeles, Blake addressed the meaning of "I Bet You Still Think About Me."

"It's basically what it sounds like. At some point, whether you go through a divorce or a breakup or whatever, once you get past the anger and the frustration of it all, you kind of go into the sad part of it where it's just like, ‘Gosh, how come that didn't work out?'" he explained. "And that's what this song is about. Even though stuff didn't work out, I bet you miss me a little bit. It's a sad song."

Our source also revealed that when Blake and Miranda's relationship ended, "she missed him and he missed her."

Ultimately, the "Over You" singer is enjoying life with boyfriend Anderson East. Whether performing on stage together or making new music in the great outdoors, the pair can't help but enjoy each other's company. And yes, they are looking forward to their future together.

"Miranda and Anderson are talking about moving in with each other," our source shared. "It's getting pretty serious. They want children and have shared their thoughts with each other on that subject."
