Rachel Zoe is undoubtedly one of the hardest working mamas out there. So when it comes to Mother's Day, her ideal celebration would be to just take the day to relax with her husband, Rodger Berman, and their two sons, Skyler and Kaius.

E! News caught up with the mother-of-two last week at the Baby2Baby Mother's Day Playdate, and she told us, "Special to me is just anywhere with my husband and my kids. So, we'll probably go to one of our favorite spots and do a brunch or a picnic, or go to the beach for the day. Maybe we'll go to Malibu for the day."

Speaking of her two young sons, Rachel can't help but gush about how they've grown into their own little humans.

"Skyler is a hybrid of really academic, smarter than me on most days and really incredibly creative and dying to be always on a stage," she laughed while describing her 5-year-old. "He takes some classes. He loves singing; he sings himself to sleep—he just sings all day. Skyler is just extraordinary."

As for her two-year-old, Rachel said, "Kaius is just, anything his brother does he wants to do. They are best friends in the world."

While they don't have a fashion sense quite yet, Rachel says they do know what they feel comfortable wearing, and they love hats!

"If [Skyler] he doesn't like it or if it is remotely uncomfortable, he will just take it right off, 100-percent," she explained. "But they always want to wear a hat. I think they just got used to it because they both have really fair skin, so very young I just started putting hats on them, because in L.A. you just are always in direct sunlight."

Taking care of two wild little boys while maintaining her own career, Rachel is obviously one busy mama, which is why loves to take part in giving back to other hardworking moms who are raising a family, too.

The fashion designer took part in the fifth Baby2Baby Playdate hosted by Jessica Biel at her Au Fudge restaurant, celebrating Mother's Day and giving back to moms and children from impoverished areas of Los Angeles. The event, presented Tiny Prints, allowed kids to play and enjoy fun activities, while moms were given the opportunity to be pampered and relax.

"I'm on the board of Baby2Baby. I've been an Angel since the very beginning. It's incredibly close to my heart," Rachel told E! News of working with the non-profit organization that helps equip low income families with basic necessities. "Along with my job and my children, this is ultimately my priority...So I'm just trying to think about how to constantly do more, help more and keep the integrity of these kids and their parents."

Co-president of Baby2Baby, Kelly Sawyer, reiterated this point, telling us, "When we have these events...the kids have a day to be kids, and the moms get pampered. They get to spend some time with their children without the everyday stresses, and then we get to send them home with a big bag full of essentials, which is what Baby2Baby is all about—getting these essentials to children in need."

Fellow co-president, Norah Weinstein, added that even their kids are involved in helping give back to the families, constantly deciding what toys or pajamas they've outgrown that they can give to someone in need.

"I think a big part of Baby2Baby is wanting to teach this generation of kids about giving back from the earliest of ages," Norah explained. "We think that's their responsibility, and so it's a really good teaching method for us. On top of the fact that most importantly we're getting these basic essentials to these children."
