Hollywood's most glamorous couples and best friends hit the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala in New York City on Monday night, showing off their designer duds at the most fashionable event of the year.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West turned heads in their respective looks for the night's theme of Opening of Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, with Kim donning a metallic Balmain gown and Kanye wearing blue jeans and blue contacts. After staying out of the spotlight for a bit, Rob Pattinson and FKA twigs made their return to the red carpet for fashion's biggest night. While Gigi Hadid walked with boyfriend Zayn Malik, marking the event as their official red carpet debut as a couple, her sister and fellow model Bella Hadid posed with The Weeknd.
As for Sarah Jessica Parker, she was having the best time with BFF Andy Cohen, who told E! News he was going to have his way with the Sex and the City star at the end of the night. (And they maybe did shots together before getting out of the car!) Plus, expecting BFFs Emily Blunt and Olivia Wilde walked the carpet together.
