Alicia Vikander's boots were made for walkin'—or should we say dancin' when it came  to the 2016 Met Gala!

The Oscar winner decided to sport a daring look for the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute's benefit in New York City on Monday night, continuing her streak as one of Hollywood's newest fashion risk-takers.

Vikander, 27, rocked a red, black and bronze Louis Vuitton mini-dress and boots, fitting for the night's theme of "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology." Anyone else getting major Wonder Woman vibes from Vikander?!

Of her bold footwear, the Ex Machina star told E! News' Catt Sadler, "I would be able to dance all night in these shoes!"

And it's no surprise that Vikander was looking for footwear she could bust a move in, as she celebrated her big Oscar win for her work in The Danish Girl by hitting the dance floor, telling E! News after the ceremony that she couldn't wait to "just get these shoes off and dance."

No need to take her shoes off this time as those boots were definitely made for dancing!

Also a plus? The boots gave Vikander, who is set to star as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider film, "some height," she told Catt on the red carpet.

Another star who also rocked a  Louis Vuitton dress and boots was the event's co-chair Taylor Swift. Vikander, of course, wore Louis Vuitton throughout awards season, as the Swedish actress is the brand's spokesmodel.
