A.C. Slater has finally reunited with his hot mama, Jessie Spano.
Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley, the former teenage stars of the beloved Saved By the Bell, came together for a sweet surprise Friday thanks to some coy planning by Ellen DeGeneres.
After revealing the surprise guest, the moment got even sweeter—literally—when DeGeneres pitted Lopez against Berkley in a game of PieFace! The premise of the game is simple—answer the trivia question correctly and you won't get a pie in the face. If you guess wrong, Ellen spins the wheel to determine how many times the player has to push the lever, which then launches a pie at random.
Berkley escaped unscathed. Though she answered a question about the amount of caffeine in a black cup of coffee incorrectly, she didn't suffer the fate of her former castmate who couldn't manage to name all five of the Great Lakes in the United States.
"Oh, dang it! I forgot Superior," Lopez shouted before getting a face full of pie on the third click.
Could we be seeing more of these hilarious moments from Lopez in the months to come? DeGeneres couldn't let him leave without trying to clear up some of the rumors alleging he's Kelly Ripa's next co-host on Live!
"I know, people were saying that. Again, very flattering. I love Kelly. I've guest hosted with her a few times she's awesome," he responded diplomatically. "I'm looking forward to going back and guest hosting again." However, he wouldn't downright deny the claims.
"You're not shutting it down," the host pointed out. "You're not saying absolutely not."
"Well, I got to go over everything with Mrs. Lopez," he quipped. "She's the real boss of the house, so we'll see what she has to say about that."
