Brooklyn Decker is the latest person to vent frustrations about life at the airport (hint: it's always miserable), but she's especially angry because she missed her flight after already being on it! After an initial delay, Decker and the other passengers finally boarded only to be told they could de-plane because of a mechanical error. Decker got off the plane and headed straight to the bathroom so she could pump breast milk. When she returned, the gate was closed and she had missed her flight.
"2 mechanical delays. Told we could de-plane. I did. Pumped in the bathroom. Returned 15 min later. Flight closed. Deeeeep breaths," she tweeted. "WHO LETS PASSENGERS OFF, THEN CLOSES THE GATE SHORTLY AFTER?!? *GULPS WINE* MISSES BABY *SOBS*"
The Grace and Frankie actress welcomed her first child Hank with husband Andy Roddick in October. Understandably upset, Decker revealed this was the first time leaving her son, which only added to her frustrations. She continued to vent on the social media platform, baffled by the fact that she and everyone else were told they could de-plane only to be whisked back on the flight in the 15 minutes she was gone.
"Me: run to pump because we're already delayed almost 2 hours," she continued in her spree. "I pump in bathroom. Return to gate. Plane is there.. 'Sorry. Gates closed'"
Eventually Decker's rant took a slightly comical turn after she began drinking wine to help cope with her emotions. "I don't know why I'm sharing all of this. I'm just livid. And tweeting. Whilst drinking," she wrote.
Once she calmed down, she began to muse about the tough lives women lead having to multitask all the time. "As women and as moms we try to do it all but it sure ain't easy," she tweeted, adding, "Crazy thing is I got off to pump thinking, 'I don't want to offend the guy next to me.' But why? He probably sucked a boob too. #winemusings."
