The Tonight Show isn't done paying tribute to Prince just yet.
While Jimmy Fallon spent a good portion of last night's episode sharing anecdotes with Questlove and the Roots, tonight's show will honor the legend in a more musical way, and they've recruited a bit of help.
D'Angelo and some surprise guests will be joining Fallon to perform a "very special" tribute to the late artist, who died on Thursday at the age of 57.
Last night, Fallon shared a story about the time Prince challenged him to a game of ping pong, simply because he thought Jimmy would be fun to play ping pong with. Prince won, obviously, and the story's truly incredible.
On Saturday night, Fallon headed back to his former home on the Saturday Night Live stage to introduce the sketch show's own tribute to the star.
The show featured Prince's multiple performances (which are often unavailable to stream) and a few sketches featuring Fred Armisen as the singer, along with yet another story from Fallon about another incredible encounter with the pop icon.
The Tonight Show airs at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
(E! and NBC are both part of the NBC Universal family.)
