Jodie Sweetin was sent to the hospital while rehearsing for Dancing With the Stars, but a bruised bone didn't keep her and pro dance partner Keo Motsepe from hitting the floor and taking on Pink's "Try" dance.
"It wasn't too bad," she told E! News' Erin Lim about her ankle. "Luckily my ankle is OK, but I bruised a bone on the outside of my foot, which is tender and sensitive, but the ankle at least is stable. That would've thrown things off a little bit more. It is what it is. I keep it wrapped and ice it when I can and then I push myself the rest of the time."
The injury happened while the Fuller House star was working with Motsepe on a lift and a flip that Pink did at the American Music Awards. But she had no doubts about performing on the Monday, April 25 show.
"I trust Keo completely and we worked so hard on this," she said. The couple received a score of 25 out of 30 from the judges.
They ended up cutting that part out. Yet Sweetin admitted there was a "crazy part" of her that wanted to try again. "I was just having this little war in my own brain," she said about going back and forth over attempting the lift again.
