We've all asked for the flimsy water cup, walked over to the soda machine and secretly filled it with things that were definitely not water. Most of the time we've gotten away with this harmless crime, but one guy wasn't so lucky. So unlucky in fact, according to a police report given to 40/29 News, the man ended up getting arrested. Literally all of this could have been avoided if he had dished out the extra few cents it takes to buy a soda cup. Is it really worth it, people!?
After ordering three glasses of water from the drive-through, the guy, and two others went inside, tossed the water and filled it with their soda of choice. Like, could you be more obvious!? If you're going to pull this off, that was not the way to do it. #NotSorry. When they were inevitably busted by the manager, two of the soda thieves gave back the stolen goods but one did not. Instead, he ended up hitting the manager with his freakin' car (twice) trying to get away. Where was Jesus when we needed him to take the wheel? In not surprising news, he was charged with felony robbery and booked. We wonder if they serve soda in jail?
