You heard it here first: Chris Pratt can wear the crap out of a leather vest.

The trailer and the first-look images for the upcoming Magnificent Seven remake just dropped, and let's just say they are marvelous. Many eyes will be on star Denzel Washington, the movie's many action scenes, and even how this current version seemingly compares with the original 1960s flick.

But for us, we're glued to Chris Pratt. Make that Chris Pratt The Cowboy. Hubba, hubba.

Scores of actors before him have slipped on those iconic boots and hats to get a little taste of the old West. Jeff Bridges in True GritLeonardo DiCaprio in The Quick and the DeadLiam Neeson in A Million Ways to Die in the West. But dare we say that no one has looked more strapping than our Chris Pratt.

It's not his first time wearing a vest, of course—that honor went to Jurassic World. And as good as it was to watch him wrangling dinosaurs, it's even better to watch him wrangle, well, whatever it is they did in the Old West. He may not be the first candidate one calls to mind when casting a reboot of the much-revered classic Magnificent Seven; he's no Denzel, after all. But it's our firm belief that he brings a level of realness and a genuine touch to a movie that might otherwise be bogged down in taking itself too seriously.

And he certainly steps into those cowboy boots with ease. Just look at the way he mounts his horse: With a wink and a smile no less.

And factor in how charming he looks checking to make sure his gun is still in its holster.

Or how highly perfected his old-timey wink is.

And his gun-toting skills are off the charts. Can we get this guy a duel, stat?

And finally, he's so much man that he can melt any moviegoer with just a single swig of bathtub gin. Prohibition has never looked so good. And neither has Chris Pratt.

Is it September 23 yet?
