Could there be discord in the Hamlin-Rinna household?

For much of this last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna has been leading the crusade against her former pal Lisa Vanderpump, alleging that LVP was pulling the strings all year long when it came to questioning Yolanda Hadid's Lyme disease. In fact, Rinna's become so consumed by her quest that the argument will spill over into (and certainly take over) the three-part reunion special, premiering tonight on Bravo. But it sounds like her husband, famed actor Harry Hamlin, is singing quite a different tune when it comes to ol' LVP.

Hamlin spoke exclusively with E! News at Resident Magazine's April Cover Party, where he was being feted on Monday night at the Savant Showroom in New York City, and he offered us a different perspective on the whole thing. "She's so funny," he said of Vanderpump. "At the end of the day, this is a TV show. The only difference between this and a nighttime soap is the blood isn't fake!"

And about Rinna's claims in the preview of the big reunion special that her husband defended Hadid way back at the start of the season, Hamlin wanted to clear a few things up. "Well, what I actually said was 'We really need to support her.' I never said 'whether she's sick or not,'" he admitted. "That was I think in the second time Lisa mentioned it, she said it that way. And I said to Lisa, 'You know I don't think I said it that way.' And she goes, 'Oh right, well…' Obviously Yolanda needs support. Whatever she's going through, it's taking a toll on her and it's very challenging for her."

The Mad Men actor wasn't shy about what lies ahead in this season's reunion, either. "You know, the thing about the show itself, when you're watching this show, there are moments when you can kind of breathe a little bit, but not with the reunion," he said. "The reunion is like a freight train that just keeps slamming right through, going through barricade after barricade. So, it's just an onslaught."

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills three-part reunion special begins Tuesday, April 19 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
