When multiple sources confirmed Monday evening that the pair was expecting their third child, viewers were reminded of a few story lines from Beverly Hills, 90210.
Between 1990 and 2000, Brian played David Silver who had his eyes set on Donna Martin (Tori Spelling) from the moment season two began. While they went through their ups and downs, the series ended with the pair reunited and getting married in front of friends and family. Sounds lovely, right?
In the spin-off 90210, however, Brian's character really began to remind some fans of his life today. David's marriage entered a period of separation shortly after his wife gave birth.
While Donna was quite saddened over the separation, there was still plenty of love between the pair. After all, who can forget when David sent flowers and messages to the mother of his child?
When it comes to Megan and Brian's relationship, the pair welcomed two children together—Noah Green, 3, and Bodhi Green, 2—before filing for divorce in August 2015.
While Megan cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, the couple has since been spotted together on numerous occasions both with and without their children.
"They are working really hard to be together and one unit—not only for their children, but also for each other," an insider shared with E! News. "They are looking forward for the arrival of their new baby."
Something tells us Kelly, Steve and the rest of the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast would be happy to see David—we mean Brian—making it work with his leading lady.
