Hollywood's biggest stars took home the golden popcorn this year.

Kevin Hart and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson co-hosted the 2016 MTV Movie Awards Saturday at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, Calif. Breaking from tradition, the show did not air live. Instead, fans tuned in Sunday at 8 p.m. "It's an honor to be hosting the MTV Movie Awards with a guy who's not only one of the funniest guys on the planet, but who's often mistaken as my twin, Kevin Hart," Johnson said in a statement. "We live for our fans and promise to make this an epic, historic unforgettable night for them." Hart added, "I love hosting—it's my thing. Dwayne and I are the perfect team for the epic 25th anniversary show."

Expect the unexpected. "It's going to go down," Hart teased.

"Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart define what it means to be modern movie stars," executive producer Casey Patterson told E! News in a statement earlier this year. "They have a direct and personal relationship with their fans, who love them for it and have made them two of the biggest entertainers in the world. They are bringing the action and comedy to the big 25th anniversary of the MTV Movie Awards, which makes me excited and frankly a little afraid. Double trouble!"

Jessica Chastain, Cara Delevingne, Zac Efron, Chris Evans, Gigi Hadid, Chris Hemsworth, Kendrick Lamar, Jared Leto, Olivia Munn, Eddie Redmayne, Margot Robbie, Seth Rogen, Will Smith and Charlize Theron and more presented, while Ariana Grande and Halsey performed. Exclusive clips from three of the year's hottest movies—Captain America: Civil War, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Suicide Squad—were also unveiled. Star Wars: The Force Awakens led with 11 nominations, followed by Deadpool (8), Avengers: Age of Ultron (6), Mad Max: Fury Road (4), Pitch Perfect 2 (4), The Revenant (4) and Trainwreck (4).
