Luann de Lesseps is going to ring in 2017 the right way!

The Real Housewives of New York star chatted with E! News last night at the show's premiere party in NYC and opened up about her engagement to Thomas D'Agostino Jr. and their big wedding plans.

LuAnn dished, "It's going to play out on the show...We're getting married on New Year's Eve. I'm Very excited about that. It's his 50th birthday, it's New Year's Eve, and we're getting married! So, it's a triple threat, and it's going to be a fabulous party!"

Though she hasn't picked out a dress quite yet, LuAnn says that planning has definitely begun. "[We] just booked the location. Now we're working on booking the hotels and invitations," she revealed. "So, the dress is coming next!"

The couple got engaged in February in New York City shortly before jetting off to Vail, Colo., to celebrate. Previously, LuAnn was married to Count Alexandre de Lesseps for 16 years before getting divorced in 2009.

As for parting with her countess title and royal last name, LuAnn says, "I've had that title for so long. I had a great marriage, and it's still part of who I am...But I'll be Mrs. D! Instead of de Lesseps, I'll be Mrs. D'Agostino."

This is something the reality star has repeated in the past as well. While guest starring on FABlife in February, LuAnn explained, "I was married for 16 years the first time, and very lucky and had my two beautiful children, and I never thought it would happen to me again, but I found love again, and I'm a hopeless romantic. So, it looks like we're gonna get married!"

Congrats again to the happy couple!

(E! News and Bravo are both members of the NBC Universal family).
