Fox Renews 2 More Dramas: Which Shows Are Still in Danger of Being Canceled?

Rosewood and Lucifer received good news from the network on Thursday

The doctor is in...and so is the devil!

Fox has renewed two if its freshman dramas, Rosewood and Lucifer, for the 2016-17 TV season, the network announced on Thursday. Rosewood, which stars Morris Chesnut as the titular doc, has found success as Empire's Wednesday night lead-in show, averaging 7.8 million total viewers. Starring Tom Ellis as the devil himself, Lucifer is averaging 10.5 million total viewers across all platforms. 

"We knew we had something special with Lucifer, from the engaging performances of Tom, Lauren and the rest of the charismatic cast, to Len Wiseman's visually stunning look of the show and the amazing storytelling savvy of the Bruckheimer team," Fox boss David Madden said in a statement. "With Rosewood, creator Todd Harthan has put a fresh, playful spin on the procedural format, infusing it with wit and warmth, while Morris, Jaina and the show's gifted supporting cast have turned in fantastic performances. We look forward to two stand-out sophomore seasons from both series."

Fox previously renewed dramas Empire and Gotham, as well as comedies The Last Man on Earth and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The network also picked up Bones for a 12th and final season.

The shows still in danger of cancellation? Longrunning sitcom New GirlJohn Stamos' Grandfathered and The Grinder, starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage. Plus, Sleepy Hollow has yet to receive news about a potential fourth season pick-up.
