NetflixSound the alarms: new photos from Netflix's Gilmore Girls revival are here. This is not a drill, we repeat, this is not a drill. There are new photos of Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel together again in Stars Hollow.
In the new photos, which can be seen below, we for sure get a glimpse at the "Summer" episode, one of four 90-minute installments coming out…later this year. Each episode will be a different season in the year, with the action picking up nine years after the show ended. There's also Sally Struthers as Babette! Of course there's a Stars Hollow musical coming up. Of course. There's also Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai (Graham) walking hand in hand, Emily (Kelly Bishop) looking stately and Rory (Bledel) standing in front of a class…at Chilton?! Plus, a town meeting. Yes, after all these years Stars Hollow is still having town meetings. And is that a Friday night dinner happening? Emily and Rory are there, but where's Lorelai? Hopefully just out of shot...
And then there's the photo of Rory and Lorelai eating Chinese takeout, Red Vines and some kind of ice cream—all over coffee, naturally. That's a lot to take in. Details are still scarce about the big revival, but in addition to the aforementioned names, so many familiar faces will be returning to the beloved show? Melissa McCarthy (yes, really!), Liza Weil, Danny Strong, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn, Yanic Truesdale, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia and Matt Czuchry are all among the returning players.
