Jesse Camp won over many hearts when he was a contestant on MTV's Wanna Be a VJ, but today you might not recognize him.

Page Six caught up with the former MTV star, who won the competition in 1998, and allowed him to give his version of a gossip report. Camp, who once wowed fans with his wild hair and painted nails, is still rocking his long hair but this time it drapes past his shoulders instead of gelled straight up like he used to.

In the video, Camp tries to report on some of TV's most notable morning show hosts. "Get this: Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg seen sharing a Cobb salad over at Spago's Uptown. What does it mean? Could the two View co-hosts be back in cahoots? Who knows?"

He continues reporting on other newscasters' whereabouts, speculating where a couple of Today show co-hosts could be. "Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda were seen snacking at Tedeschi's Japanese fast food on 34th, and that's really all I gotta say," he continues.

Things take a turn when he confuses the New York Post with the New York Times and can't distinguish between the two. He ultimately decides to end his reporting and blame his publication faux pas on drugs. "I'm zipping it 'cause I am on a very bad acid trip at the moment and I think I'm being interviewed for the New York Post—so clearly I'm not in my right head," he says.

Camp told The Huffington Post last year that he has been sober since 2009. He also has been working with MTV again for a trip down memory lane with the network's newly launched TBTRL segment, a throwback to its show TRL, on Snapchat Discover.
