Jodie Sweetin is back, y'all.

Tonight's Dancing with the Stars celebrated stars' most memorable years, and Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin chose this past year to honor, since it was the year that Fuller House came to be.

"When the original Full House wrapped, I was 13 years old," she explained in the pre-dance package. "It was a huge shift in my life. Everything that I'd known from the time I was 5 years old suddenly ended, and it was saying goodbye to a family that I loved very very much. At such a young age, it really was a huge loss for me that I didn't know how to grieve. Drugs and alcohol just sort of numbed everything. I was doing cocaine, and ecstasy, and alcohol, and all that. The darkest moments for me weren't necessarily ending up in the hospital and all that. It was those quiet moments alone when I'd just hated the person I'd become."

Tonight, however, was all about celebrating how far Sweetin had come since those days.

"I have been sober for five years now," she continued. "Through my sobriety I can be happy with simple things now."

Full House co-stars Lori Loughlin and Bob Saget also appeared to support Sweetin.

"To see Jodie come out of the dark place and make it to the other side I think she's completely inspiring," Loughlin said.

"I think she's a great mom because she's been through so much," Saget added. "With that comes honesty and the more honest you are with your kids, the more you can be real with them, and I think that's her biggest accomplishment is that she's just incredibly real and that's one of the things I love the most about her."

Sweetin's life changed for the better when she got the call about reprising the role of Stephanie Tanner in Netflix's Fuller House.

"What a gift to go back to doing what I love,"  I remember my mom saying that when I was little, I had this light that shined really big and that she'd watched my light become very dark, and I just remember my mom saying to me, like, your light shines again. Doing this dance, I get to shine again. I dimmed my light for a long time and I don't feel like I have to do that anymore."

Sweetin and partner Keo Motsepe danced a foxtrot to Andra Day singing, "Rise Up," and we will not lie to you: we teared up. The judges gave it a 23 out of 30, but we're pretty sure wouldn't have been able to give it anything less than a 10 out of 10.
