Someone get Dierks Bentley a pair of tube socks!

The 40-year-old is co-hosting the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards with fellow country star and returning host Luke Bryan, 39. Bentley posted on social media last week a "censored" promo video that showed him waking up from a "reoccurring nightmare" in which he performs his hosting duties naked.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, he joked it was "not a bad idea," adding he could host the ceremony in just tube socks.

"On your feet," Bryan replied. "Tube socks on your feet."

"See, his mind is terrible," Bentley said.

"Just clarifying," Bryan added.

The latter star also said the best way to describe their real ACM Awards look is "fly."
