Attention! Netflix has just unveiled its next soon-to-be blockbuster hit: John Stamos

In a surprise trailer released early Friday, the digital network announced the upcoming release of a docu-series based on the legendary star, who recently returned to his small screen roots in Netflix's sequel, Fuller House.  "So excited about my partnership w @netflix and our new Docu- Mini," he wrote on his Twitter account. "Check out the preview. Full series April 31st."

"Netflix and I have partnered up to give you something very special," the Grandfathered star proclaimed in newly released teaser. "Production is underway, but we want to give you a small taste of what's to come."

Unfortunately, it will never come to fruition as it's all a big, fat joke. April 31 does not exist. Thanks to the magic inspired by April Fools' Day, Netflix concocted a faux production dedicated to Stamos—not just the human being, but the human...being.

"What is John Stamos? Good question," he says as he narrates the self-centered clip. "Teenage heartthrob. Worldwide brand. What is a star? A bad boy? A good guy?"

While we know it's all a hoax, we can't help but feel a little bummed that none of those questions will ever be answered in a docu-series. As a Broadway performer, musician, small screen star and infamous bachelor, Stamos' life would play like the perfect silver screen saga that we wouldn't be able to take our eyes away from.

It looks like we weren't the only ones bummed out by the prank. A handful of fans took to Twitter to express their discontent. This may be the start of Netflix's "next level" after all.
