Amy Schumer is still getting used to life in limelight.

After years of working the stand-up comedy circuit, Schumer finally found mainstream success in 2015. Her Comedy Central series, Inside Amy Schumer, won a Peabody Award, and Schumer's work on the show has resulted in five Primetime Emmy Awards nominations, winning once for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series. Last summer, she wrote and starred in Universal Pictures' Trainwreck, which earned a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay and a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical. In addition to headlining her own HBO comedy special (directed by Chris Rock), she befriended actress Jennifer Lawrence, with whom she co-wrote an upcoming comedy feature.

At the Comedy Central upfront in New York City Thursday, the 34-year-old comedienne joked that the widespread acclaim she achieved in the last 12 months isn't sustainable. "Do you guys know that I'm really famous now? I think it's gonna last another six months. Obviously, I've got behavioral issues," she told reporters and advertisers (via USA Today). "I didn't know what being famous would be like. You can imagine, and then it actually really blows. You're like, 'Boo-hoo,' and yes, I'm very rich now. Very rich. But now, I get to have things like: If I walk down the street in New York, people going, 'Oh my god, I never do this, but would you f--k my brother?'"

Schumer has already joked about her overexposure in recent promos for Inside Amy Schumer. Whether she likes it or not, her star is still on the rise. Inside Amy Schumer returns Apr. 21, and the show has already been renewed for a fifth season set to premiere in 2017. At Thursday's presentation, Comedy Central also unveiled a development slate that includes five series pickups, 10 new specials and 11 pilot orders—two of which hail from Schumer. The comedienne extraordinaire is producing The Untitled Kyle Dunnigan Project, a scripted series starring Kyle Dunnigan set at a superhero academy, as well as The Untitled Rachel Feinstein Project, a hidden camera show in which Rachel Feinstein goes undercover to perform various social experiments.
