InstagramVictoria Beckham can still balance it all...in high heels.
The 41-year-old fashion designer and Spice Girls singer is known for her fondness for the ankle-breaking yet stylish footwear, even telling dd Glamour in 2008 she "can't concentrate in flats." She has occasionally put them on and in February, she raised eyebrows when she was spotted wearing them while walking in London. She also donned sneakers in New York, including (gasp!) on the runway of her Fall 2016 show.
Surprise turned to shock when she told the U.K. newspaper The Telegraph, "I just can't do heels any more. At least not when I'm working," she says. "I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable."
But please do not fear, Posh Spice fans, as Victoria has not ditched her high heels entirely. On Thursday, she posted on her Instagram page a photo showing her lounging on a couch and doing a very high leg lift while wearing five-inch black pumps. (And someone is rather limber.)
"It's amazing what you can do in culottes...those ballet classes are paying off!" Victoria wrote.
Victoria had showcased the same pose with similar heels while wearing a jumpsuit during a trip to Singapore last year.
