The digital dating world can be a scary one, but it doesn't have to be with the Boompi app. With this dating app, once you match with a potential lover and begin private messaging, you can secretly invite your friends to spy on the conversation between you and your match, according to TechCrunch. Boompi saves you the thousands of screenshots you'd normally send to your girlfriends asking them to approve your potential new dude. How cool is that? Is cool the right word here?

TBH, it's a bit creepy too. The friends you add can also secretly comment on the conversation between you and your match. On one hand it's nice to have friends looking out for you in case your date turns out to be a creep. On the other hand, how is anyone supposed to sext while their pals are secretly watching? We're not quite sure how we feel about this app but hey, to each his own, right?

Update! Don't have Boompi? No problem. It looks as though Tinder is following in their footsteps according to Business Insider. Come across a potential 10 but need your friend's approval? Send their profile to your pals and see what they have to say. In hella-awkward news, you can even send profiles to your coworkers via Slack and LinkedIn. No.
