Lauren Conrad has come a long way since her days on The Hills a decade ago, and now the bestselling author is reflecting on spending her early twenties in front of the camera.

"I feel pretty good about where I'm at," Conrad shared with E! News. "I feel really happy with what I've been able to accomplish and I really love my job every day."

Conrad, whose next book Lauren Conrad Celebrate comes out tomorrow, further dished that she's looking forward to taking some much-needed time off following her press tour.

"This book was a lot of work, so I'm going to take a bit more time for my personal life which will be nice."

And speaking of personal life, how does the 30-year-old think she's evolved since her reality show days that documented nearly every move she made?

"I think [I've] changed like anybody going from their twenties to thirties. I think there's a lot of growing up and figuring out who you are and advancing in your career. So I feel like it's a lot of the same changed that a lot of people go through," she told us.

As for her next undoubtedly soon-to-be bestselling, Conrad was happy to spill her go-to tip for planning the perfect gathering.

"Number one is just plan ahead. There's a lot of moving parts when planning a party and you can get really overwhelmed," the blonde star explained.

"I think just putting together a plan and a budget and don't be afraid to delegate. Once you do that, [on the] day of, enjoy the party!"
