As the Empire star gets ready to say "I Do" to her longtime love DJ Devin Lucien, E! News has all the details about her weekend bridal shower that any bride-to-be would love.
Kaitlin's closest family and friends came together at PLATFORM in Culver City, Calif., for an afternoon filled with food, drinks and more than a few special gifts.
"I'm feeling incredibly excited about the weekend!" Kaitlin shared with E! News exclusively when describing her upcoming nuptials. "I can't believe that everyone I love is gonna be in the same room at the same time and I can't wait to celebrate and dance all night long!"
When not discussing the big day or upcoming Bachelorette party, guests were treated to beverages from Club W, food from Loqui and Snapdragon flowers from The Bouqs Co.
As for Kaitlin, she wore a Colton Dane dress and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes as she talked lovingly about her soon-to-be husband throughout the afternoon.
"I love that Devin will always have my back, that he's an incredible partner who's supportive and loving," she explained to E! News. "And that he loves watching Vanderpump Rules as much as I do."
Recently, Kaitlin shared even more details about her wedding that will ultimately be held in Big Sur, Calif. With the rings picked out and the invites sent—yes, her Empire co-stars are more than welcome—the actress is just ready for Mother's Day weekend to arrive already.
"I'm sorry for all my new moms who are going to be at my wedding instead of celebrating," she joked to E! News. "When you're shooting eight months out of the year and you have four months to make it happen. We don't actually have much of a choice on when it's going to be."
