Olivia Culpo might want to cover her ears.

Nick Jonas released "Close (feat. Tove Lo)" overnight, the first single from his new album, Last Year Was Complicated (out June 10 via Island Records). The duo's music video will drop Friday morning. Jonas took social media by storm, announcing his album's title and track list in a series of tweets. The singer, 23, also unveiled the album artwork as a nine-piece mosaic on Instagram.

"When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about... Then I had a breakup," he tweeted Thursday, likely referring to his split with Culpo. "It then became very clear what this thing would be about... And that I would need to dig really deep....S--t is too real sometimes... Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard.... But I know it's important that I do it. I want to be an open book in my art......The first song you're gonna hear tomorrow night is about how I literally can't open up and be vulnerable with someone.."

Mattman & Robin produced "Close."

Jonas hosted a listening party in West Hollywood Thursday night for press and TV bookers, where he played four new tracks from the album. Earlier that afternoon, the pop star stopped by the iHeartRadio headquarters in L.A. to promote the album's lead single. "'Close' is about the inability to connect with somebody, get deep with them. I had a great time recording it. Got Tove Lo to jump on the song, actually, after the Jingle Bell tour, and ready for the world to hear. Hopefully they like it as much as I do," Jonas said, adding that it was a pleasure to work with the 28-year-old Swedish singer. "It's great working with Tove. We had a great time shooting the video. It's very intense. But [there's] a lot of chemistry, and it's a good vibe, and we had fun."

Jonas will support his album when he and Demi Lovato kick off their Future Now Tour June 24 in Sunrise, Fla. The North American tour will end after 44 shows on Sept. 17 in Inglewood, Calif.

Jonas and Lovato may even sing a few duets. As she told E! News earlier this week, "We are working out the details. We are trying to figure everything out. We want it to be an unforgettable experience. We are very hands on with all the details. If you ask me in two months, I can give you a solid answer." Jonas, who last hit the road with Lovato on the Camp Rock 2 tour, echoed that sentiment. "We will create new experiences," he told E! News at the Honda Civic Tour's press conference in New York City. "It has been a long time since we toured together."
